Located over Saigon Bay in Bocas Town, we are close enough to town to still be able to enjoy the nightlife and amenities, while being far enough to enjoy the natural beauty of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Saigon Bay is famous for its spectacular sunsets and is full of nooks and places to explore. Right from our dock you can grab a kayak and explore the mangrove channels of the Matumbal Municipal Reserve located only five minute paddle from our bed and breakfast, or go snorkeling at a sunken ship located only a ten minute paddle from our dock. There is so much to do just from our place, we are much more than just a private room. At night sleep to the sounds of waves under room, since our facilities are located 100% over the sea.
Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast has only 3 double rooms and is a family run establishment, space is limited. Room #3 is the largest with a queen size bed, desk and chair as well as a closet, air conditioning and fans. The room is located near the entrance of our building but offers black-out curtains and bamboo shutters offering the privacy you want. Hand’s down this is the most comfortable room we have.

- The pandemic has changed a lot for the tourism industry. Until things change, Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast will not be accepting any deposits ahead of your reservation. Payment is made upon arrival. We will be offering free cancellations for all upcoming reservations.

- Our neighborhood is called “Saigon”, and is nested in a bay just a few minutes walking distance from the center of Bocas Town. Its practical location allows you to be away from the buzz but still close enough to shops, restaurants and nightlife. You will be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep, as the neighbors are mostly other quaint bed and breakfasts, vacation rentals, hostels and local homes of respectful residents. The neighbors are quiet with the occasional social gathering for cocktails, but never anything later than 10pm /11pm. While you should be able to enjoy yourself however you choose (alcohol is welcome!) this is not a party house nor a party neighborhood. Covid-19 has also changed a lot about how we interact with our guests and how our guests interact with each other. Our health and safety procedures are as follows: - Continuous cleaning and sanitizing of all areas, rooms, kitchen and social areas. - Deep and careful disinfection of all surfaces that you can possibly touch (door handles, kitchen area, bikes and recreational items, seating areas, etc) - Mask are mandatory. If you do not have a mask ask us, we can provide one. - Every time enters our building, you are required to have your temperature taken and registered. - We have placed hand sanitizers of alcohol gel and alcohol spray bottles located throughout our place. - Streamlining measures for check-in and check-out. - Room service on request if not weekly. - Personal protection masks and gloves available for guests on request. - Breakfast reservations are to be made the night before as well as reserving the time you wish to eat. We are happy to welcome you: Your wellness is our main task.
